Wow, it's been an amazing 9 months on the diet, and only 3 have been 95% GFCF, I don't say 100% because so far I have not addressed CC issues and other things like playdough and shave cream. Kile went from being totaly non-verbal to talking on a 3 yr level in this short time. He also started following directions (75% of the time.)

He went from 24/7 meltdowns to haveing ocasional meltdowns, he now sits at his desk, walks in a line, puts on his own clothes, opens his own lunch, gets his own drinks, picks up his room, participates in group activities, engages others to play with him, plays with toys correctly, is no longer interested in the car wheels and ceiling fan, answers when his name is called, sleeps all night, can walk beside mommy and daddy and not run off, will sit in the car seat with out getting out, says please and thanks, can say all abc's, count to 84 (not sure why he stops here) can read, spell and is beginning to show
interest in using a pencil. Before the diet, he did nothing but stare into space, have fits, spinn wheels, watch the ceiling fan, bite, pinch, throw things, hit things, head bang, smear poop, eat dirt, had no concern for safety, ran off, would not coorporate at all, never answered when called, showed no interest in any activities, had NO self helpskills. Ate only junk, and he is still not a good eater, but we are going to tweek his diet more when he is out of school for christmas, he needs to eat some veggies and more meat, so i am going to take away all foods and not replace anything, just offer meat and veggies.

The biggie, his is 90% potty trained..............it's been 6.5 long yerars of diapers and we are almost diaper free!!!!!! YEA! YEA! YEA!

We have started whitewater rafting with Kile this summer, something he could not do last summer due to his inability to sit or corrporate.

Yesterday we went to the Smkey Mt National park, we rode for hours through the park, saw some deer and two Wolves. He loved riding, something he never tolerated before the diet.

Also, yesterday we rode a helicoptor, he absolutely loved it. He kept saying, Oh wow! HE laughed harder then I have ever seen him laugh and even ask the pilot " do you need to go potty" which meant that Kile needed to go potty.

Kile still has a long way to go to be recovered, but I believe with the help and guidence of God and this group we will make it.

I appriciate you all so much.
Cheryl

Blessings
